Mandatory Soccer Courses

1. Create NCCP account and take note of your number then complete Safe Sport Training

Complete the following mandatory Safe Sport courses:

• NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two (20 min | Free)
• NCCP Emergency Action Plan (15 min | Free)
• NCCP Making Headway in Sport (60 min | Free)
• NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (45-60 min | $85)
• Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders (180 min | $25)
• NCCP Safe Sport Training (90 min | Free)

Good news: These courses transfer across different sports, so you may already have them! (check your transcripts)

If not, we’ll reimburse you.

2. Criminal Record Check/VSS Check

A current (within 36 months) Criminal Record/VSS Check is required for all coaches, regardless of age group.

If you do not have one please email me and I will send you a letter so there will be no fee.

3. Create or update your staff Ramp Profile

• Register as a staff
• Scroll to the bottom and click the age group you'd like to coach (We have assigned all staff accordingly to to their child and coach partner requests) 
• To ensure our records are up to date, please log in and update your NCCP #, certification status, and VSS check in Ramp.

Step 4: Send Receipt to Treasurer

Step 5: Remind yourself what a positive role you play in our community for the youth and how much we appreciate you for taking the time to become a coach!!

Step 6: Get in touch with us so we can put you in contact with your co-coach and team

Step 7: Play soccer !
